TIACA strengthens its board with e-freight expertise from Kale
Amar More - SVP, Kale Logistics Solutions and an e-freight specialist joins The International Air Cargo Associations (TIACA) board members to aid in wider adoption of e-freight.
Mumbai, July 16, 2014: Kale Logistics announced the appointment of its representative and a well-known industry expert - Mr. Amar More as TIACA’s Board member.

With this new role, Amar will work with TIACA team in attainment of TIACA’s e-freight goals across regions hitherto not penetrated. As an expert on supply chain technology and as someone who has worked with global cargo airlines, airports, ground handlers and forwarders to create digital cargo community systems / e-freight platforms and enterprise systems, Amar’s induction on TIACAs board will strengthen the already rich expertise of board and will aid in e-freight proliferation.

Commenting on the occasion Mr. Oliver Evans, Chairman, TIACA said, “We are pleased to welcome Mr. Amar More-SVP, Kale Logistics Solutions on the TIACA board as he represents a neutral technology player, who has done significant work at ground level in ensuring adoption of e-freight and delivering proven solutions that equip all industry stakeholders with a digital platform that ably supports e-freight. We look forward to his contribution in helping us achieve our e-freight objectives.”

On his appointment as the TIACA board member, Mr. Amar More said, “Kale has been a long standing TIACA trustee member. E-freight is an initiative that spans across shippers, forwarders, airlines, ground handling companies and TIACA is in a unique position, with its membership coming from all these domains, in influencing the adoption of this initiative. With the practical experience of successfully implementing several digitization initiatives we now wish to bolster TIACA’s role in the e-freight roll-out across the industry. I am looking forward to share our expertise, resources and experience and play a vital role in advising members on digitization initiatives in regulatory environment.

Mr. More is the proud recipient of CILT International Young Achiever Award-2009 and is the only individual globally to receive this honor on account of his exemplary contribution in delivering Technology solutions to the logistics industry. He endeavors to bridge the technology gap between different players in the Logistics Industry. Amar has been working very closely with leading Industry Associations, experts and stakeholders alike in conceptualizing and implementing large cargo community systems that address the inefficiencies in the supply chain and create seamless flow of shipment information.
